Dougal is an international executive with the ability to think outside the box. He has a rare mix of a pragmatic engineering background, combined with 25 plus years consulting in the high-tech industry. Prior to launching ‘totalCyber’ in Sydney and building a cyber security risk assessment platform, he established his own IT consultancy business in London.
Dougal studied engineering and computing, before qualifying as an electronics engineer with a distinction in business studies. He joined IBM and spent eight years looking after the investment banks and London Insurance Market in the City of London. He achieved various sales awards and a marketing accreditation with The Chartered Institute of Marketing and was one of only a handful of people to be offered an MBA place at the world-renowned London Business School.

Advising leaders on the reality of their cyber risk exposures, the value of their cyber risk management frameworks and the steps that can be taken to minimise exposures.
With more than 25 years commercial and consulting experience in the information, communications and technology security sectors, Fergus has a deep understanding of how cyber risk issues arise, and how best to mitigate them.
Fergus have worked with IT and organisational risk management teams across many industries. He is currently applying what he has learnt with regards to organisational risk governance in order to facilitate productive discussions with senior executives and boards. His experience as an advisor includes assessing risks, providing improvement plans, educating stakeholders, and testing incident response plans. This focus includes reference to organisational risk culture along with privacy and supply chain cyber risks.

Andrew is a 40+ year veteran of the Australian IT landscape and brings to totalCyber a wealth of technical and managerial experience to the governance and compliance of totalCybers' operations.
Andrew has 25 years experience as a director of numerous successful IT organisations both in Australia and overseas having been a founding Director of Allcom Networks and Allcom PNG. He was a core member of the management team of both organisations through numerous mergers and acquisitions and ultimately the change of ownership through IPO (Allcom Networks) and on-market sale (AllcomPNG).
At Allcom Andrew led the technical innovation which resulted in Allcom receiving numerous Australian and APAC awards for Unified Communications, Security and Customer Service. Most recently Andrew was Head of Channels at CrossPoint Technologies, post their acquisition of Allcom, tasked with the success of the partnerships with core vendors and distributors.

Michael advises companies dealing with Digital Law: the intersection of cutting-edge technology, automation and innovation. As a former software developer, Michael has a rare combination of technical, regulatory and legal skills which he leverages to assist clients address privacy, software and cyber security issues as well as innovative products.
Michael works with Fintech, Regtech, Blockchain, and digital asset projects from enterprise level deployments bringing technology to existing business models to experimental start-ups. Michael holds a Bachelors of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University and a Masters of Law from the University of New South Wales. He serves on the boards of the Canadian Australian Chamber of Commerce and Blockchain Australia and has been ranked one of only 4 Band 1 Fintech lawyers in Australia by the prestigious Chambers & Partners in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Brian is a reputation management and crisis communications consultant who counsels organisations in navigating high-stakes challenges and mitigating reputation risk.
His experience spans data breaches, high-profile crises and corporate issues management. He is regularly engaged to advise on managing media and stakeholder relations in a cyber incident response.
A former journalist and network news executive with the Ten Network, Brian has held senior roles with the global public relations firms Edelman and H+K Strategies. He has conducted media and communications training for many hundreds of spokespeople in Australia, Asia-Pacific, the UK and the Middle East.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Adelaide University. He is a member of Fluid, a virtual global consultancy of senior communications advisors, and is a professional member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia.
Local Government Guru
Chris is an experienced executive providing consultancy services within local government. Prior to moving into consultancy Chris spent ten years working in financial markets both domestically and off-shore.
Chris has spent the last 12 years working in local government within regional NSW with more than five years’ experience in Service review and IT Management roles and over 5 years’ experience in Director (Corporate Services) and Interim General Manager roles.
Cyber Safety Consultant
Ross is an experienced digital specialist, providing expertise on cyber safety and cyber security with a focus on behaviour and process improvement.
Over the last 15 years he has worked with organisations in healthcare, retail and wholesale to define, drive and delivery digital technology improvements.
He co-founded the Best Enemies Education program which provides resources and workshops to address negative online behaviour and cyber safety issues in organisations and schools across Australia.
